KATIA ALMAYEVA

Professional ballet dancer with over 20 years of training and experience performing numerous principal roles.
Katia began her ballet training at the age of 6 with her mother and professional ballerina Marina Almayeva. Since 2005 Mrs. Almayeva won numerous top awards at prestigious international ballet competitions including the Grand Prix and Hope Award in every age category at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP). She had the rare honor of competing in the dance Olympics of the world such as Moscow IBC in Russia and Helsinki IBC in Finland. Katia has performed in many ballet galas, sharing the stage with international ballet stars. In 2016 she joined the acclaimed Eifman Ballet Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia. 
Since then, she has returned to Texas and has been coaching, dancing and choreographing for international ballet competitions and performances.  Mrs. Almayeva's mission is to pass down the years of competitive experience and training to the new generation of talented young dancers.
